Letter from the Secretary-General
Esteemed delegates,
It's a big pleasure for me to be in this conference and welcome you all in the 4th annual session of KAFMUN.
I am Yasemin Aslan and I will be the Secretary General in this Mode United Nations. I have always tried to be a part of MUN conferences in every chance I had since the first year of high school and of course I have been part of KAFMUN for three years. I’ve learnt a lot in my past journeys which led me to here, writing this letter.
It's a big chance for young students like us to talk about diplomacy and share our opinions about international complications. As the Secretary General of KAFMUN'26 I can assure you that we will give you every chance to have these enjoyable debates.
At the backstage we are working disciplined for the organization and academy to welcome you in the best way. As academy we did our best to find the committees that include nowaday's issues which will lead us to more intensed debates. I hope with our efforts every delegate will be feeling comfortable with sharing their arguments.
Before I end my letter I would like to mention my appreciation for my academic team and tell how grateful it is to work with them. I also would like to thank our dearest Director General Berra Kurtuluş and Deputy Secretary General Ali Kerem Ertaş for being with me and helping me in this journey. It's a great honor to work with them for you.
As the Secretary General of KAFMUN'26, I can't be more excited to see you in our conference and listen to you discussing in that delightful debates.

Letter from the Director-General
Most esteemed delegates,
It is my greatest pleasure to welcome you all to 4th Annual Kültür Model United Nations Conference. I’m Berra Kurtuluş, and this year I am honored to be the Director General of the KAFMUN’26. Looking back, one of the most valuable experiences in high school was discovering Model United Nations. I realized that speaking in front of the crowd, expressing myself in MUN’s had become a passion for me. I’ve always admired being the director general at KAFMUN’26, because it gives me an opportunity to show my leadership and organization skills, basically reaching my full potential.
As the executive team of KAFMUN’26, one of our priorities had always been self-development. Therefore, we committed providing our delegates a productive, remarkable and joyful experience. For instance, our aim is to make KAFMUN’26 much more just a three-day event. Instead we focus on making this conference unforgettable in every way.
It is highly important for our delegates to brainstorm and debate as the youth in platforms where it is possible to raise our voices and awareness. Thus, KAFMUN'26 will be the perfect place for you to do this. I hope that you’ll find some inspiration from our different committees which all of their topics are chosen elaborately for our participants.
While I come to the conclusion to my letter, I would like to give my special appreciation to my organization team, my deputy Director General, İnci Erkoç and our Secretary General, Yasemin Aslan. Together we make this conference better every year by our efforts. KAFMUN’26 is a legacy to us. So, it is our responsibility to take lessons from our mistakes and carry the KAFMUN’26 to a further level. Most importantly Dear delegates, you are the hearts of this conference, I cannot wait to meet you between 17-19 June. Time will pass fast, but the memories will remain with us forever.
